Dr Collette Burke has spent more than 25 years within the Engineering & Construction Industry in both the private and public sectors. She has moved through a variety of roles within telecommunications, road, tunnel, rail, building, marine and other major infrastructure projects. She is an internationally acknowledged researcher, with a PhD in risk management. Currently a Director to the VicTrack Board and Managing Director of two private engineering consulting firms; Exner Group here in Australia and Karsta Middle East based in the UAE. Dr Burke was appointed the very first Victorian Chief Engineer at the beginning of 2018, to which she will provide expert advice to the Government on major project design and engineering.
